Congratulations to Dissertators Receiving External Fellowships
The Department of History is excited to announce and celebrate the following History and History of Science, Medicine, and Technology dissertators who are receiving external fellowships:
- Patrick Walsh has received the American Philosophical Society John C. Slater Fellowship.
- Samm Newton has received the Knauss Fellowship from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Sea Grant program.
- Chris Hulshof has received the Boren Fellowship. Boren Awards are an initiative of the Defense Language and National Security Education Office.
- Simon Fisher has received the Gender & Women’s Studies LGBTQ+ Dissertation Fellowship.
- Yacov Zohn has received the Cohen-Tucker Dissertation Research Fellowship from the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies.
- Ethell Gershengorin has received the Cohen-Tucker Dissertation Research Fellowship from the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies.
- Charlotte Whatley has received the Dana-Allen Fellowship from the Institute for Research in the Humanities.
