Biography
I am a second-year Ph.D. student focusing on mid-twentieth century US militarism in Korea. I am particularly interested in the sociopolitical life of everyday Koreans during the early Cold War period and what it can illuminate about the geopolitical stakes of citizen-subject making and militarized modernity. My general interests include racial formation, decolonial movements, and Transpacific and Asian American studies, among others.
