Biography

I am interested in how histories are remembered and taught in settler colonial nations. Because of this, I traveled to Aotearoa New Zealand to complete my Masters in 2024, focusing on methods of historical construction in a colonial context. I am invested in bottom-up histories and my time in Aotearoa New Zealand cemented my interest in how communities have and are currently working towards modes of redress in what is now known as the United States.
