Biography
My research focuses on modern U.S. foreign policy, with a particular interest in U.S.-Latin American relations in the 20th and 21st centuries. I am interested in the construction and implementation of U.S. foreign policy as a reflection of various associated issues, including domestic politics, international power dynamics, racism, and different national histories. I believe that the study of diplomatic history can achieve a form of social justice in exploring and exposing how past decisions have shaped the inequalities and power dynamics of our world today.
