April 2006 Gregg Mitman won the Aldo Leopold-Ralph W. Hidy Award for 2005 from the American Society for Environmental History for his April 2005 article “In Search of Health: Landscape and Disease in American Environmental History.” The award is given annually for the best article published in Environmental History.
