History of Science graduate student Melissa Charenko and Associate Lecturer and Postdoctoral Fellow Toshihiro Higuchi have been named Honored Instructors for their contributions to UW students and their education. This fall, as course TA and course instructor respectively, they taught HistSci 203 – Science in the Twentieth Century: A Historical Overview to over 80 students. Their inspired efforts led to this honor, congratulations Melissa and Toshi!
Honored Instructors is a student initiated and run program in University Housing that encourages students to honor instructors on campus that have made an impact on their learning. Every semester students living in University Housing are invited to nominate instructors who inspire them, making learning easier, or make learning fun.
