Biography

My research focuses on the history of medicine, with particular emphasis on public health issues and the epistemic anxieties surrounding them in 19th and 20th-century India. I examine these dynamics within a comparative global framework, exploring how subaltern ideologies and economic disparities intersect in the convergence of traditional and Western medical practices.
