Ilana Feldberg Adelman

Ilana Adelman (’91) was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and moved to Evanston, Illinois, at the age of 9. After moving a number of times, she found her grounding as an undergraduate at UW and became a History major after taking classes with Prof. David McDonald.  She has worked for Bloomingdales and Ann Taylor, and is currently pursuing a culinary degree with plans to enter the restaurant business.  She has been an active member of committees at multiple schools and Rockefeller Universiry, and has a daughter in high school, a son at the University of Chicago, and a daughter earning an MPH at Columbia University.  She lives in New York with her family and looks forward to serving the University that holds so many positive memories for her.
