Teaching Fellowships – Deadline: March 1st
Open to advanced dissertators; each awarded every other year. Call for applications announced via email.
- William J. Courtenay Teaching Fellowship (one semester): Awarded to an outstanding student who is within a semester or two of completing the dissertation. Preference will be given to students in ancient, medieval, or early modern European history. If endowment income permits, the fellowship will include a modest research fund.
- George L. Mosse Teaching Fellowship in European History (academic year): This fellowship provides support in the Fall semester for development of a course in European history and a second semester of support to teach the course in the Spring semester. Provides monthly stipend, tuition, and health insurance eligibility.
- Merle Curti Teaching Graduate Lectureship (one semester): Awarded to a student in any field of study to teach a course of their own design. Provides monthly stipend, tuition, and health insurance eligibility.
