Dan Bouk, Colgate University

The Haller Lecture Fund and the Department of Community & Environmental Sociology present Dan Bouk, Professor of History at Colgate University, former Faculty Fellow at the Data and Science Research Institute, and Member of the Max Planck Historicizing Big Data Working Group. He is the author of Democracy’s Data: The Hidden Stories in the U.S. Census and How to Read Them, one of The New York Times’ 100 notable books for 2022.
