Allison Powers Useche’s book, Arbitrating Empire, received the 2026 Robert E. Dalton Award for Outstanding Contribution in the field of Foreign Relations Law by the American Society of International Law. Arbitrating Empire had also previously received Honorable Mention for the 2025 Stuart L. Bernath Book Prize from the Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations.
