The Society for Military History recognizes Chad Gibbs

The Society for Military History recognized Chad Gibbs for his paper “Lessons from the Treblinka Archive: Transnational Collections and their Implications for Historical Research” with an honorable mention for the Carroll Award for best graduate student military history paper during the 2018 Missouri Valley History Conference (March 1-3, 2018).  Chad’s paper discusses the lessons he learned while searching regional and local connections and makes several recommendations on how to improve transnational research.  His paper is pending publication.
