My field of study is Modern Chinese History, especially the Republican period from 1911 to 1949. I finished my MA Thesis talking about the intellectual transformation of several Nationalist cadres who turned from the left to the right and I aim to explore a broader intellectual transformation that happened in East Asia from the 1920s to the 1930s.
