I am a graduate student in the Department of Curriculum & Instructional in the College of Education. My research focuses on theorizing a democratic pedagogy using historicization and critiques of politics, democracy, the body, development, and naturality from queer, crip, and posthumanist theories. My goal is to embody theory in my future teaching practices after earning my master’s degree. In addition, I am interested in emancipatory, indigenous, and disorderly pedagogies, particularly in relation to high school social studies curricula.
