Mosse Lectures

"Istanbul and New York"

Nobel Prize winner (2006) Orhan Pamuk gave the Mosse Lectures at the Humbolt University in Berlin on January 14th, 2010. His subject was Turkey; life at the border to the west, and what it means to cross that border. Prof. Andreas Huyssen of Columbia University gave a response to his talk, and a lively discussion with the audience capped a memorable event.
